Star and the Duck Pond

Recently I took my first trip to the duck pond. I have seen ducks before at some of the other parks I have been to, but this was my first time seeing so many ducks.

What the devil?? Lookit all the ducks!

What the devil?? Lookit all those noisy critters!

Oh! I see some more over there!

Oh! I see some more over there!

And there are... well, they're everywhere, aren't they?

Meh. They're a lot less fun than I hoped. Let's go.

I even saw a big white bird called a seagull. The Lady said it must have been very lost. I can understand that, because it was merely a big bird, not a duck, and therefore should not be living at a place called a duck pond.

Also, I’d like to give a big shoutout to the big group of Army guys and gals that were at the park. Thanks for all the petting, and sorry I had such a hard time sitting down. When my tail starts wagging and my butt starts wiggling like that, it’s hard to sit. I’m working on it.

  1. Hey Star! Did you chase the duckies around the pond and go swimming too?

  2. You are such a good girl Star! I would have jumped in the pond and chased the duckies. I know what you mean about the tail wagging, butt wiggling stuff. I have the same problem when I meet new people. I can’t help it, I guess I just get too anxious to make new friends! Say hi to Dozer for me!

    Your Pal,
    Trooper

  3. Hi Star! We love the duck pond that is here in Wichita Falls. That’s where my Mommy and Daddy got married. They take us for walks there but I get really tense and want to chase the birds and Princess Fiona tries to eat the duck poop. (I know, that’s not very Princessy is it?)
I wish I knew other bully dogs that were good like you so that we could all go walking together. I would really love that and I think Mommy and Daddy would too.

  4. Did woo chase da ducks, Star? Dat iz Waldo’s favorite game at da park: Geese Chase. It hurtz da mommee’s arm.

    Wuv,
    Gus and Waldo
