It was a sunny spring day with a nice cool breeze. I had just spent an hour at a park playing with some other dogs, twenty minutes at a pet store testing out dog beds, and about ten solid minutes doing zoomies across the yard. So, yes, I was pretty darn tired.

The Lady was working diligently in the dirt for reasons that are beyond my comprehension. Her nice soft sweatshirt, discarded in the grass, called to me. It was like a miniature bed. I decided to take a little break.

Yeah, I'm laying on your sweatshirt. So what?

Bugger off. Sleeping here.

The Lady kept telling me my posture was inappropriate. Whatever. I’m pretty sure she sleeps like this.

Well I jumped up and did a flip and as it happens I slipped and landed on my side in the dirt. So it wuz very embarasing but fer a while before Mummy dusted me off I wuz half white and half tan.

Mummy sez I wuz trying to make myself the same color as Star. I kin ashure you that is not true. Why wud I want to be the same color as my worstest enemy??

At sum point after this pitcher I also ended up doing a flip in the grass and I getted grass stains all over. So I wuz also very green but Mummy did not say I wuz trying to be like the grass so I think she is a hippocrit.

By sum mirakle I avoided a bathies even though I wuz very dirty. Mummy jest dusted me off. She sed it is gonna rain fer the next few days anyways so why bother with a bathies when Im gonna get washed off the first time I have to go potty outsides in the rain. Thats the spirit Mummy!

Yesterdays wuz a purty day outsides so we spended a little time out there. I am of course well known fer my sun bathing skills.

Bright sun fun toy and soft green grass means perfect sun bathing.

Star did not quite understand it but she getted points fer trying.

Bright sun but none of the other thangs like fun toy or soft grass.

And then there wuz Daddy…

My Daddy sumtimes comes home and Mummy sez gosh the grass is tall and Daddy sez yeah yeah yeah. Then he takes me outsides and we mow the lawn together. I is not skeered of the lawnmower not at all.

Here I is helping Daddy by laying on the grass and making it flat. Or mebbe I wuz tired I dunno.

Daddy is saying sumthang like hey move it but I dont know why cause Daddy is the only one moving here.

Me and Frisbee are moving down a ways so Daddy can cut the part I flattened.

See its easy to mow the lawn!
